Old Cowtown Museum is a historic 17-acre, living history museum with 35 exhibit areas depicting life in Wichita and Sedgwick County during the period 1865 to 1880. There are historic buildings complete with period furnishings, art objects, clothing, industrial machinery, craft tools, and farm equipment. There is also a living collection of livestock including longhorn cattle, horses, and Dominique chickens.
